WELCOME TO S.A.V.A SPEAKS

Welcome to S.A.V.A. Speaks!!!!! My name is Anyania I. Muse and I am the Founder & Chief         Visionary Officer of S.A.V.A. INC. As many of you may already know, I dropped out of High School, had two children and wound up on welfare all before turning 25. S.A.V.A. was created out of my own personal journey with leaving behind lack and utilizing education as the catalyst for my life to change.
What my journey taught me was how to invest in myself. That it was not ridiculous to ask for help, but that I needed to invest in myself so that others would really see the value in supporting me on my journey. I am very pleased to introduce S.A.V.A. INC. to all of you. This program has become the best thing that I could have ever done. The ability to motivate people to forever change the trajectory of their lives through education has been an amazing experience. When we speak about education, were not just  talking about education in the traditional sense, but by empowering our members to connect themselves to a process of self-investment that will support every goal imaginable.
We are so pleased to be able to share this with you and hope that as we grow you will support our efforts. We have created this blog as a way to keep you informed of our thought process, the way in which we see education, and how we support our members.
S.A.V.A has the ability to promote what we call transformational education and for that we are extremely excited.
Transformational Education, is our way of conveying to our members that it's okay to take nontraditional routes to your education. We want to encourage all of our members to be innovative, creative, and absolutely secure in their approach to education.
So welcome, we invite you to share your thoughts, stories, experiences, and most of all we hope that like us, you learn something new with every encounter.

S.A.V.A.'s Vision & Mission

S.A.V.A.'s vision is to see individuals overcoming lack, fear, doubt and failure. We want to encourage our participants that its never to late to begin again. We believe that access to transformative education plays a vital role in individuals finding their purpose.

S.A.V.A.'s Mission is to Encourage, Empower, and Inspire youth and young adults to forever change the trajectory of their lives through Self-Investment and the promotion of post secondary education.

We believe that access to education can not only change the perspective of an individual, but have a positive impact on their future.

How Do we do this?

We do this by focusing our energies on six core program areas:

  • Career & Education
  • Health & Wellness
  • Arts & Creativity
  • Civic Engagement
  • Transformational Education
  • Life Skills

So What Does S.A.V.A. Stand For Anyway?

S.A.V.A. is an acronym for the four tenets under which we build a foundation for our work and for the work our participants engage in. Our founder Anyania I. Muse came up with these tenets after dropping out of high school, obtaining her G.E.D and finding that in order to reach certain goals, she would have to learn how to build a system that supported her in doing so. That system gave birth to S.A.V.A.

Self-Investment: This principle is to teach the individual both the importance and validity of learning to invest in his/herself prior to asking the world to invest in them. This will be achieved through seminars, symposiums, and workshops on how to invest in self by building a solid foundation.

Advocacy: Through this principle we will teach individuals how to advocate for themselves through campaigns, story banking, public speaking and taking an interest in issues within their communities which affect their individual futures.

Vision: Through this principle we teach participants how to set the vision for their lives in all areas. Whether its financially, educationally, professionally or personally, we want our participants to learn how to navigate their lives through vision.

Action: This is the final principle of S.A.V.A. which teaches participants to utilize what they have learned and move toward bringing their goals into fruition. This is the culmination of the lessons, principles, directives, and skills obtained through effective leadership development, training, mentorship, and peer investment.
